Wood Words Stamp For You

Hello and welcome to Mitosu Crafts. It’s Jay here sharing a card idea using the retiring Wood Words stamp set. Barry showed a sneak peek of this card on our Facebook live the other week and I’m finally blogging it!

Paper Craft Crew

This card was inspired by the colour challenge from Paper Craft Crew. I thought the challenge was running for 2 weeks but I was wrong. I am glad that I created this 2nd card as it’s such a pretty design, don’t you think? It’s also fairly simple to re create so an ideal card for casual crafters.

Card Details

• Cardbase: 4 1/8″ x 11″, folded in half at 5 1/2″
• Sahara Sand Mat: 3 15/16″ x 5 5/16″
• Whisper White Layer: 3 9/16″ x 4 15/16″

The scallop detail is actually the heart stamp from the set, snipped and adhered upside down. The ‘For You’ sentiment also comes from the Wood Words stamp set, snipped from ‘A Note For You’

Wood Words Stamp & Wood Crates Dies

I will miss the Wood Words stamp set and matching Wood Crates dies when they retire in June. I’ve had fun creating projects with these including a pop up card which you can see HERE. Need it in your craft stash? Get it before they’re gone as these are now only available whilst stock last.
