Stamp Review Crew ~ Incredible Like You
The Stamp Review Crew are hopping again showcasing project inspirations using the Incredible
Welcome to the Stamp Review Crew blog hop! We are a group of Stampin’ Up! independent demonstrators sharing project ideas with one particular stamp set every 1st and 3rd Mondays of the month.
You are currently at Mitosu Crafts with me Jay Soriano. If you’re following the hop already, you would have arrived here from Heartfelt Inkspiration. What a fab project from Debra Burgin! You can continue along the hop by clicking the ‘Next Blog’ button at the end of this blog post.
Incredible Like You Card Ideas
I am sharing 3 card ideas today for your inspirations using the Incredible Like You stamp set.
Amazing Day Card #1
The first card is actually one of the oldest cards I designed using this stamp set from the Spring/Summer Catalogue. This card has been up on our display board which we take to our cardmaking classes and events since January but has yet to be blogged. So what better time to share it than today with the Stamp Review Crew!
There’s a couple of fussy cutting with this card as I wanted to arrange the stamped designs around the sentiment. The lines design was stamped on Whisper White cardstock first before embossing with the Subtle DTIEF. This mat was then sponged with Coastal Cabana ink for a vignette look.
Amazing You Card #2
I took the Coastal Cabana colour to inspire the 2nd card with a more cleaner design. Also, I wanted to showcase the other stamps more than the flower and this is what I came up with.
The line design was stamped on an angle repeatedly with the help of the Stamparatus. I also used the In Color 2019-2020 Stampin’ Emboss Powder for the topper.
The sentiment was fussy cut as it was an after thought once all the other elements were already adhered. You can stamp straight on the Coastal Cabana cardstock before embossing with the Subtle DTIEF if your not a fan of fussy cutting.
Adore You Card #3
For the final card, I concentrated on the large circle stamp design, creating my own grayscale background. The colours I used were Smoky Slate, Gray Granite, Basic Gray and Tuxedo Black.
The hearts were created using one of the leaf design stamped with Poppy Parade. I also used Dark Stampin’ Blends to add the circular border around the sentiment to show how you can achieve a mat and layered look with the Stitched Shapes Framelits Dies
Well that’s it from me today. Make sure you hop all the way around to see the crew’s creative projects using the Incredible Like You Stamp Set. Don’t forget to come back and order any Stampin’ Up! products from Mitosu Crafts’ UK Online Shop or from your local Stamp Review Crew Design Team
