New Stampin’ Up! Cheerful Daisies in Boho Blue
Hello and welcome to Mitosu Crafts UK. It’s Jay Soriano here sharing card ideas with the Cheerful Daisies in Boho Blue for the Stamp Review Crew blog hop.
Cheerful Daisies Stamp Set
Stamp a happy garden or bouquet of daisies with the Cheerful Daisies Stamp Set. You’ll love everything you can do with this set. Do you like bold and simple stamping? Use the solid images, perfect for quick stamping in one colour. Do you want to add detailed colour? Use the open line-art images, perfect for watercolouring. The flowers, flower centres, leaves, and stems are on separate stamps so you can create customised flowers. Finish with a sentiment—birthday, thanks, thinking of you, sorry—for unique cards for many occasions. Also available in French and German.
Cheerful Daisies with Stamped DSP Background
I used the Fresh As A Daisy DSP for the background and stamped different designs in Boho Blue on each panel. The layout was inspired from my recent One Sheet Wonder YouTube video. To colour the die cuts and details, I inked up the stamp with Sponge Daubers. I really like the subtle colour this technique gives and added texture to the flowers and leaves. The sentiment comes from Best Family Ever stamp set and was stamped in Misty Moonlight ink.
Retiform Technique with Cheerful Daisies Stamp
Another card inspired from a recent YouTube video. I masked off areas to stamp the Cheerful Daisies designs and ink blend Boho Blue. The die cut elements were also coloured using Small Blending Brushes. Then finished with the Textured Ribbon and 2023-2025 In Color Dots.
I hope you’re inspired with these projects and try the techniques shared on your next project. Thanks again for stopping by. Until next time, BYEEEEE!
