Stunning Cards with Gold On Black Whimsical Christmas Trees

Whimsical Trees Stamp Set & Christmas Trees Dies Bundle

Enjoy a festival of trees with the Whimsical Trees Stamp Set. Choose your favourite tree from this charming assortment or build a fun festive forest. Add the ornaments plus a greeting and your Christmas card will be complete. You can also use them to make gift tags and other seasonal projects.

This stamp set coordinates and currently comes as a bundle with the Christmas Trees Dies. Use these dies to cut out stamped images, create a wondrous woodsy scene, and more. While the trees are perfect for Christmas time creations, they can easily be used year-round too.

Gold Whimsical Christmas Trees

My 1st card is ideal for casual crafters with a Cut & Emboss Machine who loves different cardmaking techniques. It has an embossed layer with the Star-Crossed design and white embossed sentiment. Of course the gold Christmas Tree is the main focus. But I added more bling by splattering Clear Wink of Stella as well as. embellishing with die cut stars and Black Matte Dots.

Step-Up Gold Whimsical Christmas Trees

For my step-up avid card, I did more gilded leafing, embossing and die-cutting. Adding some fussy cut elements to make use of the off cuts of the trees. I also swiped Craft White Ink on the large embossed die cut tree to add more texture.

The colour inspiration for these cards came from a Black Friday advert I saw recently. I love how the Gilded Leafing on Basic Black really makes the trees stand out. Plus with the addition of Kraft Paper gives these cards a modern rustic style.
