Framed Butterfly Brilliance Best Wishes Card
Hello and welcome to Mitosu Crafts UK. It’s Jay Soriano here sharing a Butterfly Brilliance Best Wishes card for the Stamp Review Crew blog hop.
The Stamp Review Crew hops every 1st and 3rd Monday of the month. We create inspirations with the same stamp set. So if you are looking for great ideas with the Butterfly Brilliance design, continue along the hop by clicking the ‘Next Blog’ button at the end of this post.
Butterfly Brilliance Stamp Set
The Butterfly Brilliance Stamp Set is perfect for every butterfly occasion. Not only is the art style realistically detailed, which allows for a wide range of versatility, but also, these butterflies are modelled after butterfly species from around the world! The butterflies on this single stamp are arranged for an easy background stamp, or alternatively, use a masking technique to stamp individual butterflies!
This stamp set coordinates and comes as a bundle with the Brilliant Wings Dies. I haven’t played with this bundle for a while so it’s great that this hop reminds me of how beautiful the stamped butterflies are. As the Mini Catalogue launched at the beginning of the month, I also used a new product from it, the Merriest Frames Hybrid Embossing Folder.

- Stamp the largest butterfly design in Memento ink on Crumb Cake card. Then die cut with coordinating die.

- Cut & emboss the central frame with the Sahara Sand card then snip off the outer emboss areas using Paper Snips.
- Colour the embossed Layer 1 using Water Painters and the following inks: Bermuda Bay, Cinnamon Cider, Basic Gray, Mint Macaron, Evening Evergreen and Crumb Cake for the background.
- Colour the butterfly in Cinnamon Cider Stampin’ Blends Combo Markers.
- Adhere Layer 1 card flat on the cardbase using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
- Shape the butterfly by creasing each side of the body then add to the card front.
- Create 4 loops with the Linen Thread, adhere one end with Mini Glue Dots then snip 2 loops to create more strands.
- Stamp the sentiment in Memento ink on Very Vanilla card then trim to size before adding with Stampin’ Dimensionals to finish.
