TGCDT: August 2021 ~ Cards with Peaceful Deer
Hello & welcome to Mitosu Crafts UK. Thanks for stopping by for The Gentlemen Crafters Design Team August inspiration hop. Today, Barry & I are sharing a couple of cards with Peaceful Deer from the Mini Catalogue.
The Gentlemen Crafters Design Team (#TGCDT) are a group of male crafters. Independent Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators from around the world that love to share our creative side with you every 2nd Friday of each month. It’s a short list this week. Peaceful Deer Bundle
One of our current favourite is the Peaceful Deer Bundle and have created a couple of samples for our YouTube lives. The first card is from one of them actually! We haven’t blogged it before so I decided to include it for today’s post.
Be Dazzling Peaceful Prints Card
This card features Peaceful Prints Specialty Designer Series Paper. As well as the Be Dazzling Specialty Paper from Sale-A-Bration. You can earn these pretty paper packs when you place a qualifying order until 30th September 2021.

Merry Christmas Deer with Mask Technique
This 2nd card was inspired by Barry’s card as well as our recent Online Class with Plenty of Patterns.
The abstract mask was used for the background with Memento and then clear embossed. I double layered the Vellum punched with the Rectangular Postage Stamp design. This allows the brushed Silver Foil deer to not merge too much into the background. The sentiment was stamped on Real Red card and I added a hint of Basic Black card with the postage edging underneath. As the card is already full of texture and shine, I finished the card by adding just 2 Matte Black Dots.
