Quiet Meadow Stamp Review Crew

Hello and welcome to Mitosu Crafts UK. It’s Jay Soriano here sharing my card for the Stamp Review Crew blog hop. It features the Quiet Meadow stamp set coloured in Stampin’ Blends markers.

Quiet Meadow Stamp

This set from the Annual Catalogue has 10 cling stamp designs which includes flowers, backgrounds and sentiments. It is one of my current favourites and we recently had an online class with the bundle.

My card shows off the different flowers in the set which were all stamped in Memento ink. The larger flowers were then coloured in Fresh Freesia, Gray Granite and Basic Black Stampin’ Blends. I also made use of the Color Lifter to emphasise the highlights on petals.

How To Create A Thinking Of You Card with Quiet Meadow Stamp

1. Stamp the bunch of flowers in Memento ink in the centre of Basic White Layer and the large flower on a piece of scrap card.
2. Colour the flowers in Fresh Freesia and Blackberry Bliss Stampin’ Blends markers. Add shadows along the stems using Basic Black and Gray Granite blends. Then use Color Lifter to soften the shadow edges.
3. Stamp the small flowers in Memento ink and the splatter in 2nd Generation Gray Granite ink.
4. Adhere the Basic White Layer using folded Mini Glue Dots on the card front.
5. Add the Beautifully Penned DSP using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
6. Fussy cut the large flower using Paper Snips. Die cut the leafy design from Meadow Dies in Vellum.
7. De-strand the Gray Granite Baker’s Twine then create 2 loops and add using Mini Glue Dot.
8. Shape the large flower by curling the petal ends and pressing in the centre before adhering on the card.
9. Snip into the vellum die cuts and add a couple of small flourishes.
10. White emboss the sentiment on Basic Black card then add using Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals.
11. Finish with the Pearl Basic Jewels.
