One Design 2 Ways Simple Stamping
Today I’ll be showing you how I made these cards using One Design 2 ways Simple Stamping.
Hello, Barry here & welcome to this months Hello Theme Casually Crafting Blog Hop. I hope you enjoy the 2 projects I’ve made for you today.
So who are the Casually Crafters? We are a group of Independent Stampin’ Up! demonstrators that enjoy sharing our take on casual crafting. We’ll be sharing with you what we love with you every 3rd Friday of each month. If you’re looking for even more inspiration be sure to check out the rest of the design teams projects by clicking links towards the end of this post.
One Design 2 ways simple stamping
For both of these cards I decided to use One Design 2 Ways & changed things up slightly to turn them both into 2 very different cards. I’ve used the Jar of Flowers stamp set with the coordinating Flowers For Every Season Designer Series Paper as well as other items from the Flowers for Every Season Suite. However, you can easily recreate theses cards using any coordinating products you have in your crafty stash.
These 2 cards are very easy to make and don’t really need any thing special to recreate as I’ve only used Stamps, Ink, Paper & embellishments. No die cutting, or embossing involved, but this doesn’t mean you can’t add these to your projects if you have them to hand.
Make Your First Card
Cut your Pool Party card to the same size as your card base and then stamp your chosen flowers from the Jar of Flowers Stamp Set with Pool Party Ink. This will create a tone on tone effect and a lovely technique to remember for the future.
Cut a strip using the Flowers for Every Season Designer Series Paper and adhere to the Left. If you want to cover the join like I have, then you can use the Gingham Ribbon from the Flowers for Every Season Ribbon Combo Pack.
As this is a Hello Theme Blog Hop it was only right that I chose a Hello sentiment. You may have noticed that this set doesn’t come with sentiments, it’s just images. So the choice is yours when it comes to this part of making the card. Once you have made your choice stamp your chosen sentiment to the bottom right.
To finish the first card adhere the whole thing to the card base and embellish with the Flowers For Every Season Gem. Then punch out 1 flower with the Small Blooms Punch.
Voila, your first card using One Design 2 Ways Simple Stamping.
One Design 2 Ways Second Card
The second card is made the same way as the first but scaled down. If you want to make create your second card the same as mine then just add a few more elements to step it up. You can add a coloured layer, I chose Basic Black as it helps make the sentiment pop as well as doing the splatter technique with a Magenta Madness Stampin Blend.
To help it pop a tad more use Stampin Dimensionals and raise it from the card base. It’s such a simple trick, but works wonders.
Will you have a go at making these cards? I hope so. If you do, please share your projects on social media and tag us using @mitosucrafts. That way we’ll be able to see easily what you done. We love seeing what you all create.

Barry these cards are so fresh!! I love them, and I love the idea of one card two ways too. I think my favourite is the one with the big white border, really effective.
