Handmade Card with Butterfly Gala Stamp
Welcome to Mitosu Crafts UK, thanks for stopping by. It’s Jay Soriano here with a card idea for The Spot creative challenge using Butterfly Gala Stamp from 2020-2021 Annual Catalogue.
The Spot Creative Challenge
The Spot design team creates Stampin Up inspirations for a weekly card making challenge every Tuesday. The theme this week is ‘Things With Wings’
I was trying to think outside the box and was going to use Home Together Dies to create a white mansion but decided against it in the end.
Butterfly Gala Stamp
I used this set as the images can be coloured with Stampin’ Blends and also coordinates with the Butterfly Duet Punch. The colours I used were Daffodil Delight, Pumpkin Pie and Night of Navy blends.
The background was created by stamping images from Very Versailles set. Memento and Mossy Meadow inks were then sponged and swiped down the Whisper White layer for the dark grunge look.
Frost White Shimmer Paint was splattered after adhering on the Blackberry Bliss cardbase. I then added the die cut flourishes from Butterfly Beauty Dies, Misty Moonlight ribbon and Iridescent embellishment to finish.
