Welcome to Mitosu Crafts UK, thanks for stopping by. It’s Jay Soriano here with a Christmas card idea using Poinsettia Petals stamp set from the August-December 2020 Mini Catalogue by Stampin’ Up!

The card today was inspired by the Paper Craft Crew card sketch challenge #PCC389. Use the image below to inspire your card making and join in the challenge.
Poinsettia Petals
For my Christmas card today, I opted for a non traditional colour palette; Mint Macaron, Smoky Slate and Basic Gray.
The poinsettia was inked up with Smoky Slate, stamped off for a lighter shade. I then added Mint Macaron in the centre using a Sponge Dauber. The Poinsettia Dies cuts the images perfectly and the set also has embossing dies which I used for the Detailed Bands topper.
Letterpress Embossing Folder Technique
The Letterpress technique is great fun and adds colours to your embossed backgrounds. The Absolutely Argyle 3D Embossing Folder was coated with Soft Sea Foam ink using a Sponge Brayer before running through the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss machine.
