NEW Evergreen Forest & In The Pines Bundle
Welcome to Mitosu Crafts UK, thanks for stopping by. It’s Jay Soriano here with a card idea for The Spot creative challenge using the NEW Evergreen Forest 3D Embossing Folder and In The Pines Bundle from August-December 2020 Mini Catalogue.
The Spot Creative Challenge
The Spot design team creates Stampin Up inspirations for a weekly card making challenge every Tuesday. It’s a Christmas In July theme this week so get your Christmas craft on and join in the challenge.
Evergreen Forest & In The Pines Bundle
The Evergreen Forest 3D Embossing Folder can be found on page 35 of the upcoming Autumn Winter Seasonal Catalogue. Being a demonstrator means that we get sneak peeks of new products, pre-order and get discounts! For my card I added elements in the foreground using In The Pines Stamp Set and Pine Woods Dies bundle, also NEW products from the catalogue on page 43.
Card with Sponging Evergreen Forest
The colours I used for sponging after embossing the Whisper White card were Night of Navy, Pacific Point and Shaded Spruce. The night sky I splattered with water for more interest before adding on the Basic Black Layer and Smoky Slate cardbase.
I then stamped the row of trees 3 times in Shaded Spruce Ink then spread the ink with the Water Painters. The filler stamp was also used with Shaded Spruce and Old Olive Inks before die cutting with the coordinating dies.
The hills were created by die cutting a piece of rectangular card in half and using both pieces by turning the off cut upside down. I added shimmer with Clear Wink of Stella along the hills and stamped the sentiment in Night of Navy Ink.
Finished the card with Basic Rhinestones and Black Baker’s Twine, separated from the Playful Pets Trim Combo Pack.
