Tasteful Touches Card for The Spot
Welcome to Mitosu Crafts UK, thanks for stopping by. It’s Jay Soriano here with a card idea for The Spot creative challenge using the NEW Tasteful Touches set from 2020-2021 Annual Catalogue.

The Spot design team creates Stampin Up inspirations for a weekly card making challenge every Tuesday. The card sketch this week is below for inspiration. Feel free to change orientation, shapes and sizes but the end project should somewhat resemble the original and no doubt that it was inspired by the sketch.
Tasteful Touches Card Idea
For my card, I kept the orientation of the elements the same but changed their shapes and sizes. All images and sentiment comes from the Tasteful Touches stamp set.
I started by stamping the tiles design in Petal Pink across the Whisper White layer. Followed by the leaves design in Granny Apple Green using the Stamping Off technique to get the lighter shade.
The flower was stamped in Rococo Rose then slightly coloured using Petal Pink and Water Painters. This was then fussy cut, adhered on the layer before adding the Tasteful Labels die cut sentiment on top.
I decided to use the Small Bloom punch on Petal Pink card as having the same flower as above would be too big. Also, I wanted to add more texture and added the Gold Foil underneath and Braided Linen Trim for embellishment.
Tasteful Touches Bundle
This stamp set from In Good Taste Suite can be found on the 2020-2021 Annual Catalogue, pages 122-124. It coordinates with the Tasteful Labels Dies and comes as a Bundle with a saving of 10%. This stamp set is also available in French and German from our Online Shop.
