Global Design Project Challenge

The GDP design team creates Stampin’ Up! inspirations for a weekly card making challenge every Monday. Use the sketch image below for inspiration this week and share your papercraft project.

You’re The Best Double Embossing Technique Card

The sketch is great to showcase different colours or pattern papers with each panel. I decided to colour with Stampin’ Blends and added the double embossing technique recently shared on our YouTube channel for more interest.

A Textured Notes die was used for the panels to have the stitching design around the border. I then used 4 Stampin’ Blends per panel to have the ombre effect, so that’s 20 alcohol markers for the card!

All panels were embossed at the same time with the new Glass (& Gardens) Embossing Folder, and white embossing powder.

To finish the card, I added the “You’re The Best” sentiment from Darling Dinos on a card strip to follow the card sketch. Added the frame with a Journaling Pen and black Neutral Matte Dots.
