TGCDT: February 2023 Best Day Stampin’ Up! Card Ideas
Hello & welcome to Mitosu Crafts UK. Thanks for stopping by for The Gentlemen Crafters Design Team May inspiration hop. Today we are sharing a project using the Best Day Stamp Set and creating 2 lovely birthday cards using DSP & a watercolour wash technique.

Best Day Birthday Cards
I just love the Best Day set and think it’s so much fun to work with. It’s easy to colour & easy to make simple cards.
These 2 cards were made during one of our LIVE YouTube demonstrations and I have played with a little watercolour wash technique for the first card with the cat & focused on using the Birthday Cake & Dandy Designs Designer Series Papers which is FREE during the month of February 2023 as part of our Sale-a-bration promotion.
I took inspiration from a fellow demonstrator Fiona Westcott of Dorrie’s Designs for the card with the cat as I loved it so much, I love a good CASE don’t you? (Copy And Share/Selectively Edit) and Pinterest helped me with the inspiration for the second card with the Birthday Cake.
As I mentioned above, I’ve used the FREE Dandy Designs Papers and I used the colour pallet from this to help me decide what colour to add to the card , from the card base to layers. So if you get a little confused with colour combinations like me, then don’t forget to look at the colours on the papers for inspiration.
