Measurements
- Card Base (Evening Evergreen) 29.7 x 21.0 cm / 11 x 5 1/2 in
- DSP (1 piece Boughs Of Holly and 1 piece Festive Foils) 14.4 x 10.0 cm / 11/4 x 4 in
- Insert (Basic White) 14.4 x 10.0 cm / 11/4 x 4 in
- DSP (for insert) 10.0 x 1.2cm / 4 x 1/2 in
- Basic White (sentiment) 9.5 x 7.0 cm / 3 3/4 x 2 3/4 in
- Scraps of Soft Succulent for leaves
12 Weeks of Christmas Ideas #18 Tutorial
- Score your Evening Evergreen card stock at 14.9 and 10.5 cm / 5 1/2 and 4 1/4 in (into quarters).
- Cut from the top left corner to the bottom right.
- Fold and burnish the score lines.
- Cut both pieces of DSP diagonally from the top left corner to the bottom right.
- Stick the triangles of DSP onto the card base. (Hint if the DSP
- triangles don’t fit the card base, fold the card base in the opposite direction.)
- Cut out the sentiment die.
- Cut off the decorative edge around the sentiment.
- Cut the solid leaf die from the soft Succulent scrap.
- Stick it behind the leaves on the sentiment piece.
- Stamp the sentiment.
- Position the sentiment so that the leaves aren’t over the opening line. Stick the sentiment onto the front of the card using dimensionals. Be sure to only put the dimensionals on half of the sentiment so that you don’t stick the card closed.
- Stick the strip of DSP onto the bottom of the insert.
- Stick the insert inside the card.
- Decorate the front of the card with the rhinestones.
