Simply Succulents Stamp Set

One of my favourites and so happy it’s carrying over to the 2021-2022 Annual Catalogue. Barry and I have created a few samples with this set. As well as used it for our TNT Online Craft Retreat back in September. During which I shared colour inspiration boards that I used for inspiration for my watercolour cards below.

Simple Card with Succulents

Simply Succulents in Watercolour Simple Card Idea for Stamp Review Crew from Mitosu Crafts UK by Barry Selwood & Jay Soriano Independent Stampin Up Demonstrators

I stamped the image in Staz-On then coloured with the Water Painters using Blushing Bride, Granny Apple Green, Pool Party and Soft Suede. This simple card does use the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss to easily die cut the topper. As well as emboss the layer with Tasteful Textile design.

The sentiment comes from Ornate Thanks and I hand drew the border with a pigment pen to finish.

Succulents Thanks Card

I made use of the Potted Succulents Dies and Meadow Moments Embossing Folder to decorate my 2nd card. A mirror image of the succulents are peeking underneath the sentiment. Mirror image stamping can easily be done with the Stamparatus and Silicone Craft Sheet.

But you’re probably wondering, where’s the watercolour succulents? Well it’s inside of this fun wiper card of course!

The colours I used to watercolour are Blackberry Bliss, Misty Moonlight, Mint Macaron, Smoky Slate, Cinnamon Cider and Soft Succulent.

I created 2 mechanism for the pots and butterflies. And as you open the card one butterfly on the Window Sheet strip moves from left to right!

Jay, I love the succulents swiped card! Your creativity amazes me – and Barry’s too! 😊 But how in the world did you get the stamped and reverse stamped image to line up so perfectly?
