Butterfly Brilliance Photo Gallery
The lovely Butterfly Bijou DSP which was once part of this suite have now sold out. Was you lucky enough to grab a pack? So instead of using papers I decided to get messy & very pink.
Do you have moments when you love playing with a particular technique over and over again? Well, playing with water and ink is the technique I’m loving at the moment.
This project is easy to recreate and all you’ll need is a few basic tools, Water, Ink & some Fluid 100 watercolour paper. obviously you’ll need the Butterfly Brilliance Bundle.
Simply press the ink pad onto a silicone sheet (something that won’t absorb the ink) spritz with water. and the press you watercolour paper onto it. Lifting & moving it around to get different shades.
I stamped the butterfly onto some vellum and heat set with white embossing powder. Die cut 2 butterfly, one solid and one detailed. Smoosh the detailed one as well to add colour. Stick everything to you card, stamp your sentiment and splat with a black Stampin Blend.
Keep an eye on our Youtube for a video coming in the near future.

I love this card! I’ve done some all-over background watercolors using this technique but now I need to try adding less ink and leaving more white space. It’s beautiful.
