The Spot Creative Challenge
The Spot design team creates Stampin Up inspirations for a weekly card making challenge every Tuesday. It’s a Square Card Sketch this week, so use the below image to inspire your project.
Botanical Prints Product Medley
The images on the Botanical Prints stamp set looks great in one tone but even amazing when coloured! For my card today, I used the following Stampin’ Blends Markers; Poppy Parade, Old Olive, Rich Razzleberry and Soft Suede.
To follow the sketch, I used the triangular detail die included in the medley, 3 times for the vertical element. The tone on tone with the Sahara Sand card base softens these die cuts but gives a lovely detail to the project.
The splatters were added next using Soft Suede Blends before adding the horizontal elements from the sketch. I added a strip of the Designer Series Paper (also included) over the Gold Glimmer Paper then Basic Black 2″ Circle followed by the coloured image.
The Peaceful Poppies Sequins were adhered using Fine Tip Glue and I added a few dots around the image as well. I stamped the sentiment on Crushed Curry card then adhered with dimensional before finishing with the twine bow.
