Faux Black Technique with Little Ladybug Stamp

Paper Craft Crew Challenge #PCC373
The Tic Tac Toe challenge at Paper Craft Crew inspired my card. I went for the top line; Shade of Blue, Die Cut Element & Rhinestone Element, although I did end up using other items from the grid on my card (Thank You & Favourite Stamp Set)
Faux Black Technique
I revisited the Faux Black Technique to colour the cute ladybirds of Little Ladybug Stamp Set. I stamped the images on Whisper White Card inMemento Ink and coloured with Stampin’ Blends Markers: Poppy Parade and Crumb Cake. The background was then coloured with Dark Basic Black Blends Marker for the Faux Black Technique.
Tic Tac Toe Elements
- My ‘Shade of Blue’ is Night of Navy cardstock, embossed with the 3d Subtle design before sponging extra shades in Pretty Peacock and Blueberry Bushel.
- The ‘Die Cut Element’ is the flourish from Well Written Dies, cut on Old Olive Vellum from the Perennial Essence Pack.
- ‘Rhinestone Element’ were coloured with Dark Basic Black Stampin’ Blends then placed near the banner across the card.

I am just in love with this set since we got it. So cute, fun to colour and create projects with. Definitely one of my favourites!
