Forever Blossoms ~ Stamp Review Crew
Thank you for stopping by. It’s Jay here with the Stamp Review Crew showcasing projects using the romantic Forever Blossoms stamp set.
If you’re following the hop already you would have arrived here from Cindy Elam’s blog. Please continue along the hop by clicking the ‘Next Blog’ button at the end of this blog post to see all the crew’s project ideas.
Forever Blossoms stamp set from the Mini Catalogue is in CLING form with 12 designs; 5 images and 7 sentiments. It co-ordinates with the Cherry Blossoms Dies and can be purchased as a BUNDLE. That’s 10% saving until the beginning of June 2020! The big floral design is gorgeous and I have used it in all 3 of my projects for today.
All of Me Loves Forever Blossoms
So onto my first card which has simple stamping and fairly easy die cut placements.
I stamped the floral design in Gray Granite on Thick Very Vanilla cardbase 4 times which gives a lovely delicate pencil drawing look. The sentiment was stamped in Memento and punched out with the Label Me Fancy design.
The Cherry Blossoms Dies has 18 dies and there are duplicates of some designs which is great when you want a few of them for your handmade projects. I added the flower die cuts with Multipurpose Liquid Glue then adhered on the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals. The leaves were then added again with dimensionals.
The branch was die cut twice in Gray Granite and the joint hidden with a tiny Linen Thread bow.
Watercolour Pencils with Forever Blossoms
I have enjoyed using watercolour pencils on coloured cardstock again recently and decided to use them for my 2nd project.
The floral design was stamped in Memento on Pool Party card and coloured with the Watercolor Pencils in Melon Mambo, Old Olive and Basic Gray. I also used the Stampin’ White Chalk Marker on the flowers and highlights on the leaves. There is a Whisper White pencil in the set which is lighter than the chalk marker so I used this to blend out the Melon Mambo on the flowers.
To add another interest on the card, I used a shorter Vellum piece for the mat and adhered on the Pool Party cardbase with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
I kept the decorations fairly simple with the folded Magnolia Lane Ribbon and Braided Linen Trim Bow. The sentiment comes from Label Me Bold and fussy cut with Paper Snips.
Power Of Hope with Forever Blossoms
The Power Of Hope stamp set and Stone 3D Embossing Folder Bundle is one of the Sale-A-Bration items you can earn for FREE when you place a qualifying order until end of March 2020. I thought the figure in the set would go well with the Forever Blossoms which inspired my 3rd project.
The floral image was stamped in Soft Suede on Very Vanilla card. To change it up, I used Petal Pink Stampin’ Blends Combo Markers this time. Once the colouring was done, I embossed the bottom edge then mat on a slightly bigger Very Vanilla card. I only wanted the border of the mat on the left and top edges before adding the Braided Linen Thread.
The flower die cuts in Very Vanilla were adhered only on the top and left edges of the card front. I then cut off any excess that extends over the cardbase with Paper Snips.
The sentiment stamp was masked to omit the last 2 words. This was then adhered on the top right of the card layer before all were added on the cardbase.
The lady from Power Of Hope was stamped in Memento on Very Vanilla card. I coloured her in Mint Macaron and Smoky Slate Stampin’ Blends Combo Markers. Fussy cut then adhered with Stampin’ Dimensionals to finish.
I do hope you enjoyed these projects. Don’t forget to come back and order any Stampin’ Up! products online from Mitosu Crafts or from your local Stamp Review Crew Design Team.

Gosh Jay. Where do I start??? I love them all. Using the die cut pieces to add dimension is inspired and love how you used the chalk pen under the watercolour pencils on your second card. Thanks for giving me more ways to use this set. x
