Framed Trees In Blues

I was creating with the Baby Wipe Technique for my #onstage2019 live swaps (HERE) and decided to make use of the leftover inks for the trees and sentiment.

This card idea is also a take on the Floating Frame technique. I adhered the trees on the Stitched Rectangle frame with Multipurpose Liquid Glue and cut off any excess. Once happy with the layout, the frame and tress were then adhered on the cardbase using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Simple Embossed Tree

I also used the Baby Wipe Technique for my 2nd card but with a different tree design. This design requires the 2 Step Stamping Technique which can easily be achieved with the photopolymer Perfectly Plaid stamp set.

It’s a simpler design using Night of Navy mat. The Whisper White layer was embossed with the Subtle 3D Embossing Folder after I stamped the tree. I white embossed the sentiment on Night of Navy card, making sure to prepare the cardstock with the Embossing Buddy before using Versamark ink and the Heat Tool.
