Floral Essence Stamp for Days Are Beautiful Card

Paper Craft Crew Tic Tac Toe #PCC342
The Paper Craft Crew are back with a 2 Week Tic Tac Toe Inspiration Challenge #PCC342. As I had a couple of spare flowers using the Dauber to Stamp technique from our Floral Essence Facebook Live on Monday, I wanted to create something with them. Luckily it fits with this week’s theme and I used the other elements in the Tic Tac Toe to inspire and finish my card.
Floral Essence Card Idea
I went for the middle column for my Floral Essence card; Die Cut Element, Favourite Colour & Floral below.
My all time favourite colour is blue closely followed by green, so in Stampin’ Up! colours these are currently Blueberry Bushel and Granny Apple Green. I paired these 2 colours in the form of the Stitched Nested Labels topper and the Textured Weave Ribbon on Sahara Sand cardbase.
I also used Blueberry Bushel with Balmy Blue on the fussy cut flowers. The Dauber to Stamp technique gives the stamped images a beautiful two tone ombre effect that’s so easy to achieve. I would’ve used Granny Apple Green for the flower centre but ours was already packed for Tuesday’s class when I was creating this card. Instead, I opted for Pear Pizazz which turned out better than I imagined.
‘All Days Are Beautiful That Begins With You’
This sentiment was white heat embossed on the Blueberry Bushel card before die cutting in the Stitched Nested Labels. It comes from the same stamp set and it’s sooo sweet. Who would you send a card with this at the front?
I decided on the layout first before stamping the leaves in Smoky Slate on the cardbase so they’ll be underneath the flowers. The ribbon was added with Tear & Tape, then I wrapped Linen Thread on the topper before adhering with Dimensionals. I snipped the punched Sahara Sand Sprig before sticking down so both are curved in the same direction, followed by the triple bow on the left. The flowers were next down which also helped to hide the sprig ends before finishing with the gold Metallic Pearls.
