Wonderful Romance Stamp for Paper Craft Crew #PCC329

Hello and welcome to another Paper Craft Crew challenge, thanks for stopping by. It’s Jay here with my Design Team card idea for #PCC329 using the Wonderful Romance stamp set

Did you like our #simplestamping theme last week? I used the Wonderful Romance Stamp Set then so I decided to use it again this week with the Wonderful Floral Framelits Dies. And here is my project…

I embossed the Basic Gray first in the Subtle DTIEF, vertically and horizontally. This created a linen look for the card, which I emphasised with the White Craft Ink along the edges. I then stamped the splatter design randomly in White Craft Ink as well as Tuxedo Black

I ended up changing the layout slightly as I adhered the Basic Gray cardstock upside down on the Sahara Sand cardbase but I really like how it turned out

I used the oval framelit to die cut in Basic Black and Wood Textures DSP, snipping the outer design from the latter to create a different look. I also white embossed the sentiment on the Wood Textures DSP before moving on with the other elements

For the banner, I stamped the leaves in Tranquil Tide Ink on Lemon Lime Twist cardstock and die cut with the coordinating framelit. Adding more colour with the Aquapainter for the leaves to stand out of the bright cardbase

The Flirty Flamingo ribbon from All My Love Combo Pack was tied into a bow and stuck on with glue dot. We had some off cuts of the Vellum DSP from the Floral Romance DSP pack from our previous cardmaking class. So I cut into it, applying liquid glue only on the back of the flowers then finished off with the Pearl Basic Jewels
