Stamp Review Crew ~ Forever Lovely
Hi and welcome to Mitosu Crafts UK, thanks for stopping by. It’s Jay Soriano here with the Stamp Review Crew blog hop featuring the Forever Lovely Stamp Set
If you are following the hop already, you will have arrived here from Tinkerin In Ink by Tanya Boser. If you started here, be sure to continue along the hop by clicking the ‘Next Blog’ button at the end of this post to check out more inspirations with the Forever Lovely set
The 1st card is a #simplestamping Valentine’s card. Petal Pink was applied on the flowers stamp with a Dauber and the flourishes was stamped in Soft Sea Foam. I extended the image with the small leaf, flourish and hearts stamps before adding the Classic Label punched sentiment with dimensionals
For the next 2 cards, I paired the photopolymer stamps with the co-ordinating Lovely Flowers Edgelits Dies from the 2019 Spring / Summer Catalogue as well as the very useful Stamparatus tool
I positioned the stamps on the clear plates and stamped on the Small Grid Paper first. This allowed me to work out where to place the Very Vanilla cardstock to achieve a nice stamped border
I applied the same colour inks as before for all sides then stamped the sentiment in Early Espresso. I used the 1/8″ Handheld Circle Punch just under to allow me to add the strands of Mint Macaron Nature’s Twine then finished off with the small Very Vanilla flowers
My final card has the same border and uses more of the dies from the Lovely Flowers Edgelits set. I die cut the corner design on Whisper White, turned overleaf then stamped the sentiment in Tuxedo Black. I used the Subtle DTIEF to get rid of the harsh die cut lines and add more texture to the topper. I added the Very Vanilla Polka Dot Tulle before sticking the topper with dimensionals
Make sure you hop all the way around to see the crew’s creative projects using the Forever Lovely Stamp Set. Don’t forget to come back and order any Stampin’ Up! products from Mitosu Crafts’ UK Online Shop or from your local Stamp Review Crew Design Team
