by Barry & Jay Soriano | Card Making and Papercraft Creative Coaches, Independent Stampin' Up! Demonstrators in UK, France, Germany, Austria and The Netherlands
Welcome to Mitosu Crafts UK, thanks for stopping by. It’s Jay Soriano here with the Creating Kindness blog hop and our Special Guest Designer this month is the talented Dena Albee of Pocket Full of Stamps
The Design Team, along with Dena have created projects with the theme of Embossing. You can find all blog links at the end of this post, so be sure to hop around for more Stampin’ Up! card ideas and inspirations
My triple embossed project features 2 different embossing techniques; Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folders and the In Color 2018-2020 Stampin’ Emboss Powder
The background was embossed in Pinewood Planks DTIEF and the Pear Pizzazz band in Corrugated DTIEF. These embossing folders are thicker than normal which gives the additional detail on the card. Remember to only use 1 cutting plate on top when running through the Big Shot
I have also used a current favourite from the Autumn/Winter catalogue to showcase on my card – the Detailed Poinsettia Thinlits Dies. I created my own stencil for the topper using scrap paper, applying Versamark through the die cut then heat embossing with the Lovely Lipstick In Color powder
As you may know there are 5 different In Colors, so naturally the 2018-2020 In Color Stampin’ Emboss Powders comes with all 5 colours! I created another version of the card with Blueberry Bushel embossing
Check out the video tutorial of how I created this Blueberry Bushel embossed card

Thank you so much Jay, I was on the fence about this bundle. Well I'm NOT anymore. You showed me a very beautiful card, one I can only attempt to case! What a beautiful person you are to be able to see such beauty in a stamp and die set. TFS!
Oh be still, my heart! These are stunning! The blue is devine & I love how you've left a little gap in the corrugated piece for the ribbon to go through. Amazing! xx
