Stamp Review Crew ~ Rooted In Nature
Hi and welcome to Mitosu Crafts in the UK, thanks for stopping by. It’s Jay Soriano here, delighted to be be back with the Stamp Review Crew. For today’s blog hop, we are showcasing the Rooted In Nature stamp set

The Rooted In Nature set comes with 16 rubber stamps and co-ordinates with Nature’s Root Framelits Dies, order both to receive 10% savings in either CLEAR Mount or WOOD Mount. It is one of my favourite bundle and is part of the Nature’s Poem Suite, you can check out more items from page 142 of the Annual Catalogue or HERE
For a couple of my cards I heat embossed the leaves randomly to create the background. This was inspired by tea tins Barry bought last Christmas from Whittard of Chelsea
The sentiment was also embossed on an offcut strip layered on top of the Whisper White Classic Weave Ribbon
I added another colour with the Nature’s Twine in Mint Macaron, separating the strands and adhering with Tear & Tape. The tree was stamped in Tuxedo Black, cut with the matching die from Nature’s Root Framelits and raised with some Mini Dimensionals
The 2nd card is similar with a couple of added elements. I used a dauber to apply Tuxedo Black around the edges of the Basic Gray layer to create a vignette look
As the background is darker, I used Vellum with the bigger tree framelit die to make the stamped tree topper stand out more
I used Grapefruit Grove Nature’s Twine this time to add colour. The 3 loops were intertwined and kept in place with Tear & Tape and liquid glue. Finished by adding the Basic Clear Rhinestones
For my final card idea, I went for a CAS look with a lot of white space. I already had the Soft Sea Foam tree die cut to hand and stuck it on the Whisper White layer
The Real Red heart was created from 2 of the small leaf die cuts. I wanted to just use what was included in the Rooted In Nature Bundle so I snipped into one end to make it a little curvier and joined the other end
The sentiment was gold embossed, fussy cut and adhered with Mini Dimensionals. Finished off with a Silver & Whisper White Baker’s Twine bow and Basic Clear Rhinestone
