Stamp Review Crew ~ Magical Day
Hi and welcome to Mitosu Crafts UK, thanks for stopping by. It’s Jay Soriano here sharing my card ideas for the Stamp Review Crew. We are showcasing the Magical Day stamp set, which will be retiring at the end of May

I created 2 projects for this hop and the first one uses the new Stampin’ Up! positioning tool ~ Stamparatus
The Stamparatus allowed me to stamp the same image along the card easily and created the unicorn background. These were coloured with Watercolour Pencil and spread with the Aqua Painters
I adhered the Metallic Edge Berry Burst ribbons and Pear Pizzazz Shimmer ribbon with Tear & Tape on the stamped background before sticking the card on Pink Pirouette card
I then added the Silver Mini Sequin Trim and Gold Metallic Thread underneath with Tear & Tape
I stamped the unicorn again on another piece of Whisper White card and coloured with the Stampin’ Blends, die cut in the oval from the Stitched Shapes Framelits then sponged with Tempting Turquoise
To finish the card, the sentiment was white embossed and fussy cut
For my second project, I used our ScanNCut to create a Scalloped Circle Step card. I also cut the scalloped circle mats as the Layering Circles were slightly smaller than I needed
I stamped the mermaid in Archival Basic Black, sponged with Tempting Turquoise, Marina Mist &and Emerald Envy inks then coloured with Aqua Painters with Bermuda Bay and Peekaboo Peach inks
I also used the bubbles from the set whilst the bigger circles are from the Playful Background stamp set. These were stamped in Tempting Turquoise, faux bleached using the Aqua Painters
The floral arrangement on the left were die cut with the Eclectic Layers Thinlits on Emerald Envy, Old Olive, Pear Pizzazz and Sahara Sand cardstock. I also added the Iridescent Glimmer Paper from the Myths & Magic pack which were punched with 1″ and 1/2″ circles
The small circle piece was a leftover from a different project which were coloured with Stampin’ blends
I had to stop as the left side was becoming too heavy and starting to tilt the card sideways. A sentiment and more embellishments on the right would have balanced the card but I felt that the project didn’t need even more details
