Liz Holloway designed a beautiful 3D Bird House which the Design Team can use to house our cards. I used the svg files with our ScanNCut for the structure and decorations
I used thick card for the base and decorated my bird house with the Fresh Florals DSP. I applied Versamark along the edges with a dauber and copper heat embossing powder. Looking at the result, I would add a bit of sponging to blend and soften the metallic edges and the DSP a bit more
The cards I am sharing with you today are the projects Barry designed for our Cardmaking & Papercraft class using the Petal Palette and Petals & More bundle. The cards are of normal A6 size (UK) and fits in the Bird House
Although only 2 cards have a bird, the other 2 were created using products from the same suite and goes well together. The Petal Passion Suite on pages 22-23 of the Spring/Summer Occasions Catalogue has an array of wonderful products that co-ordinates well with each other which is what Stampin’ Up! is known for
We do love this suite and I think it’s the only suite we have all the products for! The Petal Pair TIEF were used for the floral cards above, the Whisper White Organza Ribbon and Petal Passion Metallic Embellishments decorates the other 2 bird cards
The Stampin’ Blends were used to colour the birds and DSP. These alcohol pens are so popular and will be available to order again in June
