Oh So Eclectic Watercolour Card for Challenge Blogs
Hi and thanks for stopping by today. It’s Jay here with a watercolour card idea using the Oh So Eclectic stamp set from the Annual Catalogue
This card was inspired by the challenge at Global Design Project #GDP124 Case The Designer ~ Louise Sharp
I love Louise’s bright colours and white space on her project which I tried to recreate on my card. I also used the Sahara Sand mat and Linen Thread on my watercolour card
The colours I used were inspired by the recent Stampin’ Up! rebranding for their 30th Anniversary. 3 designs in the Oh So Eclectic set have a lovely watercolour wash effect when stamped but I wanted to achieve a whole watercolour look so out came the Aqua Painters
I had to be a bit creative with the 6 smaller flowers as there are no small flower stamp in the set. I used the pollen/anther (I had to google that part) stamp fo the middle parts then added 5 strokes with the Aqua Painter to create the petals. The Stampin’ Markers helped to define and add shadows in some areas

Thanks again for stopping by. Until next time, BYEEEEE!
