Pinewood Planks with Hometown Greetings for #GDP119

Hope you had a lovely Christmas and enjoying the holidays. It’s Jay here with a quick creative share of my challenge entry for Global Design Project #GDP119

With the theme of ‘Home for the Holidays’, I decided to use Hometown Greetings Edgelits with Pinewood Planks Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder

Emerald Envy cardstock was die cut in circle first. I applied Tranquil Tide ink on one side of the embossing folder before running through the Big Shot again. I then sponged Emerald Envy and Tranquil Tide ink around the edges

I did a quick wash of Night of Navy ink with Aqua Painter on another piece of Whisper White cardstock and placed behind

I coloured the house and trees die cut using Stampin’ Markers then used Paper Snips for the bottom edge to make it look more like snow

For the detail on the left, I used Copper Trim to create a bow then tied a Gold Ribbon in the middle with the excess pulled to left and adhered with a Mini Glue Dot

I used the Leaf Punch on Vellum, shaped with the Paper Snips and tucked under the bow

To finish the card, I used Clear Wink of Stella Glitter Brush to accent some areas of the die cuts and leaves as well as flicking against the lid to create random splatters
