It’s a Card Sketch for #PCC272 this week which you can see below with my card inspiration details
I have created a simple card using the Hostess Stamp Set called Merry Patterns for the main image. I only had limited supplies during our cardmaking and papercraft demonstration at the Basingstoke Hobbycraft when I prepared different elements for this card
Cardbase 14.8cm x 21cm
scored and folded at 10.5cm
Topper 6cm x 7.5cm
I used the deboss side of the Winter Wonder Textured Impressions Embossing Folder (TIEF) on the cardbase. I then added one of the Year of Cheer Specialty Washi Tape across the front and a small piece of Pear Pizzazz Shimmer Ribbon (both tapered on one end using the handy and very sharp Paper Snips)
The reindeer was stamped on Whisper White card in two steps; first the outline in Tuxedo Black then the whole image in Chocolate Chip. My aligning of the stamps wasn’t perfect but I quite like the added ‘highlights’ it created. Before adhering the topper, I used Multipurpose Liquid Glue along the edges to add the Silver Mini Tinsel Trim which were cut to size before placing to get the crisp corners
The snowflakes were cut on Champagne Foil using the Swirly Snowflakes Thinlits Dies, one of each sizes then stacked. I then used Gold Metallic Thread for the bow in the centre
To finish the sketch, I used Pearl Basic Jewels coloured with Dark Cherry Cobbler Stampin’ Blends
