Beautiful Butterflies Fun Fold Cards

Hi and welcome to Mitosu Crafts UK. It’s Jay Soriano here with the Stamping Sunday design team blog hop with the theme of ‘Birds, Blooms & Butterflies’. I am sharing TWO fun fold cards using the Beautiful Butterflies Bundle; a pop up and a gate fold.

I finished a couple of fun fold prototypes and added butterfly die cuts to fit the theme for this month’s hop.

Beautiful Butterflies Pop Up Notecard

This notecard measures 7cm x 10.5cm OR 2-3/4″ x 4-1/8″ with a simple card front using Modern Oval Punch on Peach Pie DSP and butterfly die cut in Summer Splash card and Petunia Pop Glimmer card. The mechanism is quite simple for this pop up; two simple box mechanisms sits under the embossed butterfly.

Beautiful Butterflies Gate Fold

The 2nd card uses 6″ x 5-1/2″ OR 15.2cm x 14cm Toadstool Gardens DSP from Sale-A-Bration divided into three panels. I added another layer in the centre with Textured Notes die cuts that opens up to reveal your message.
