Global Design Project Challenge
The GDP design team creates Stampin’ Up! inspirations for a weekly card making challenge every Monday. It’s a colour inspiration this week so use the colours Pretty In Pink, Basic Beige & Pecan Pie on your papercraft project. Then share on your social media
Country Birdhouse Bundle
The Country Birdhouse Bundle includes the Country Birdhouse Stamp Set and the Country Birdhouse Dies. Also available in French and German.
Birds abound in the Country Birdhouse Bundle! With cute bird and floral designs, you’ll be able to create all kinds of beautiful birdhouse scenes. Die cut and stamp the birdhouse and bird to create a centrepiece on your cards or scrapbook pages. Then add some extra decoration to your scenes with a few of the flowers and wood details. This bundle lets you mix and match each detail to create individual designs every time you use it.
Best Day Ever Country Birdhouse
For my birdhouse card, I added horizontal lines to create smaller panels for easy colouring. I used the following Stampin’ Blends alcohol markers: Pretty In Pink, Flirty Flamingo, Pecan Pie, Ivory & Bronze.
I also stamped the decorative design on the scallop roof in Basic Beige ink.
Texture was added on the background, by printing with the Eyelet 3D Embossing Folder with the help of a brayer and tissue paper.
To add extra focus on the birdhouse, I added 2 decorative circle frame from Spotlight On Nature. Then placed Simply Zinnia die cuts which to me looked like twigs, in Pecan Pie card.
I cut into the Iridescent Striped Trim, folded them in half then tied with Linen Thread. This was adhered using Mini Glue Dots. Finishing the card with 3 Dappled Dots.
