The Stamping Sunday design team are a group of independent Stampin’ Up! demonstrators around the world. We share themed card ideas and papercraft inspirations every 3rd Sunday of the month. Do make sure you check out the rest of the Design Team’s creative projects from the links at the end of this post.

CASE The Catalogue

‘CASE’ stands for ‘Copy And Share Everything’ or ‘Copy And Selectively Edit’. It’s basically taking inspiration from one of the projects in the 2024-2025 Annual Catalogue by Stampin’ Up!

I chose to CASE the Fresh Freesia card on page 120 / top fun fold on page 121. It’s a simple Tri Fold, decorated with Kindest Expressions Stamp Set, Paper Butterfly Accents, Perennial Postage Dies, Subtles DSP Assortments, Iridescent Faceted Gems plus Silver & White Sheer Ribbon.

I slightly changed the design from the original inspiration. The ribbon band is replaced by a square folded card. This keeps the topper in place and hides any written message you wish to add inside.

I also adhered the 2nd & 3rd panels together to help create a pocket for a gift card. One of the petals from the die cut flower on the left side acts as a latch to keep the whole card closed!

The watercoloring on the die cut flowers and leaves were inspired by the colours from the Frames & Flowers DSP.

Frames & Flowers DSP

The Frames & Flowers Specialty 12″ x 12″ (30.5 x 30.5 cm) Paper is unlike other patterned paper packs. It has three sheets of double-sided designs with floral and greenery designs on one side and all-purpose patterns on the other. And it also has three sheets of die-cut greenery elements that you can use on card fronts or to frame photos on scrapbook pages.

The teapot from Country Flowers was coloured during a live for my Members Facebook group as additional perk for subscribing to my Colouring Masterclass. Members have access to every virtual colouring classes, replays and extra content for 6 months for the price of 5 classes.
