Storybook Gnomes Criss Cross Card
Measurements
- Basic White (Thick) card stock – 10.5cm x 29.7cm (4 1/4 x 11″) – 2 pieces
- Basic White (regular) card stock – 9.5 x 13.8 ( 3 3/8″ x 5 1/8″)
- Designer Series Paper (DSP) – 10 cm x 14.3cm (4″ x 5 1/4″) x 2 pieces (different designs)
- Basic White (regular) card stock for die cutting – 8cm x 8cm (3″ x 3″)
- Paci๏ฌc Point card stock for die cutting – 4cm x 7cm (1 3/4 ” x 3″)
12 Weeks of Christmas Ideas #24 Tutorial – How To Make A Criss Cross Card
- Cut 2 pieces of Basic White (thick) card stock 10.5cm x 29.7cm (4 1/4″ x 11″). Score at 14.8cm (5 ยฝ”)
- Cut from the score line to the bottom right corner on a diagonal on both pieces.
- Adhere the 2 pieces together so that the triangles are in the front and “criss cross” over each other.
- Cut both pieces of Designer Series Paper 10cm x 14.3cm (4″ x 5 1/4″) in half on the diagonal.
- Adhere one piece to each of the triangles (you will have 2 halves left for another card).
- Adhere the card base together by applying liquid glue (or Tear & Tape) along the bottom of the overlapping triangles.
- Die cut a Basic White circle shape from the Painted Label dies and adhere to the centre of the card base.
- Die cut a gnome from the DSP and adhere to the centre of the circle with dimensionals.
- Cut Basic White card stock 9.5cm x 13.8cm (3 3/8″ x 5 1/8″) for the card insert. Stamp “Seasons Greetings” in Paci๏ฌc Point ink across the top.
- Die cut one of the toadstools from the DSP and adhere to the left of the panel, below the greeting.
- Cut a tab from Paci๏ฌc Point card stock using the smaller label from the Painted Labels dies set (or you could use a circle or any other shape).
- Cut in half and adhere one part to the front of the Basic White card insert – this forms the tab to make it easy to remove the card insert. Insert into the card base
- Finish off by embellishing with Fine Sparkle Gems
