Stamp Review Crew ~ Animal Outing
Hi and thanks for stopping by. It’s time for another Stamp Review Crew blog hop and today we are showcasing the Animal Outing set
You may have arrived here from Rubber Redneck by Holly Krautkremer or started here, either way be sure to check out all the crew’s creations by clicking the ‘Next Blog’ button at the end of this post
The Animal Outing set comes with 10 red rubber stamps which co-ordinates with the Animal Friends Thinlits Dies and are available as a bundle! We don’t have the thinlits so I paired it with the Stitched Labels Framelits Dies and the Stitched Shapes Framelits Dies for my first card
I stamped the rhino in Smoky Slate ink and card then coloured with Gray Granite using the Aqua Painters. The white outline was achieved with the Stampin’ Chalk Marker and saves another layer of card
The Night of Navy cardbase was cut with the background design from Stitched Labels set before adhering the Crushed Curry and Old Olive strips. I also white embossed the sentiment before adding a bit of Black Cord with Tear & Tape in the corner then the topper with dimensionals
The 2nd card is another simple layout and uses more off cuts. I stamped the branch in Mossy Meadow ink on Sahara Sand card, masking off the frog at the end of the stamp
The kangaroo and koala topper were coloured in Cajun Craze, Gray Granite, Balmy Blue and Blueberry Bushel before layering on Early Espresso mat
The Night of Navy strip was wrap with Linen Thread 3 times and a 5 loops bow were added on top. The Mini Silver Sequin and Gold Faceted Gem finished off the card
Do you think both these cards are simple enough for card class and ideal for male cards?

These are so great! I think these are perfect for a class: the layouts are simple, but they also get to try some coloring and painting techniques! Awesome cards!
