Embossed Marbled Background Card Idea

Hi and welcome to Mitosu Crafts UK, thanks for stopping by. Today we have our morning class at Chineham, Basingstoke and hopefully register for OnStage, a Stampin’ Up! event in November. This one will even be more special as Stampin’ Up! is celebrating it’s 30th Anniversary

Demonstrators get together to get inspired, preview new products from the upcoming catalogue and most of all have fun! We can’t wait, will we see you there?

On to today’s creative share, a heat embossed card idea with the Marbled Background stamp set

Apologies for the photos, we have already given this card to it’s recipient and didn’t realise the pictures were out of focus but hopefully you get the idea

Apply Smokey Slate ink then sponge dauber in Tuxedo Black in some areas before stamping on Basic Gray cardstock

Use Versamark reinker with Aqua Painter to trace the marbled background, don’t forget to wipe the card with the Embossy Buddy before so the Gold Embossing Powder will not stick to unwanted embossed areas

Use Chalk Marker Pen to trace other areas on the marbled background, wait to dry then go over on top with Blushing Bride Stampin’ Marker

Die cut Vellum in circle from the Stitched Shapes Framelits set and adhere to the layer

Die cut Happy Birthday Thinlits twice, off setting the Basic Black to create shadow then finishing off with the Rhinestone Basic Jewels
