Stamping Sunday Blog Hop ~ Good Morning Magnolia
Hi and welcome to Mitosu Crafts UK. It’s Jay Soriano here with the Stamping Sunday design team blog hop with the theme of Last Dance. We are featuring retiring products and I am sharing four card ideas with Good Morning Magnolia.
The Stamping Sunday design team are a group of independent Stampin’ Up! demonstrators around the world. We share themed card ideas and papercraft inspirations every 2nd Sunday of the month. The magnolia flowers on the cards for this hop were coloured for our Online Colouring Masterclass. I coloured quite a few from practise, video recording and the live session. All cards have simple layouts and design to keep the focus on the colours floral images.
Thinking Of You #simplestamping
The small magnolia was stamped in Memento ink on a square panel. Coloured in Petal Pink, Flirty Flamingo and Granny Apple Green Stampin’ Blends. I also used Watercolor Pencils to add the shadows underneath and scored 3 vertical lines on the card front with Paper Trimmer.
Hello Mini Slimline
The Magnolia Memories Dies and Rich Razzleberry Stampin’ Blends will also be retiring this year. Which I made use of both for this 2nd card. Coloured in Highland Heather, Rich Razzleberry and Granny Apple Green, the die cut flower was then adhered with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I coloured the large magnolia image from the set in Petal Pink, Flirty Flamingo and Just Jade. To keep the layer simple, I applied Balmy Blue ink around the edges using Blending Brushes. Then finished with the sentiment on dimensionals.

This last card uses the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine a little bit more. For the flower die cut and Tasteful Textile embossed layer. I stamped the same flower image on the layer frost in Soft Sea Foam ink before running through the machine. The flower was coloured in Flirty Flamingo, Calypso Coral and Granny Apple Green Stampin Blends.
