Cards with Timeless Tulips for Spring Fling
Welcome to Mitosu Crafts UK, thanks for stopping by. It’s Jay Soriano here, for this month’s Creating Kindness blog hop. The theme this month is Spring Fling and I created 3 cards with the Timeless Tulips stamp set by Stampin’ Up!

Beginner’s Card With Timeless Tulips #simplestamping
This card has got a simple layout but uses the stem design creatively. By curling the photopolymer stamp, you can create a simple wreath! The tulips are fussy cut and there’s a couple of layers
How To Make Simple Cards With Timeless Tulips For Spring
- Curl the stem stamp to create half a circle on an acrylic block. Then stamp twice in Granny Apple Green ink to create a wreath on Basic White card.
- Adhere on Sahara Sand layer then both on Thick Basic White cardbase using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
- Stamp the big tulip in Calypso Coral ink and the medium tulips in Petal Pink and Blushing Bride inks.
- Fussy cut all the tulips using Paper Snips (or use Tulip Builder Punch for the large one).
- Adhere the medium tulips flat on the card front, covering the stem ends on each side. And the big one using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Stamp the sentiment tone on tone on Soft Sea Foam card, snip down to size and adhere.
- Finish with Flowers For Every Season Gems.
Happy Card For Spring
I added die cut elements from Well Written Dies for my 2nd card inspiration with Timeless Tulips. Using the glossy die cut technique for the So Saffron ‘happy’ sentiment. Sadly though this dies set will be retiring at the end of May, so do get it quick before they sell out.
I created my own pattern paper for the topper with repeat stamping the stem design. Adding texture on the Basic White layer using Painted Texture 3D Embossing Folder and the Pool Party Sheer Ribbon.
Happy Spring With Triple Tulips
A stepped up card, again using the stem stamp differently to it’s original purpose. They were stamped in Old Olive, Granny Apple Green and Soft Sea foam 3 times each. I love the depth they give to the card as the colours changes.
The tulips were stamped in the same subtle colours as before and cut with the Tulip Builder Punch. I snipped thin strands of Granny Apple Green to add as leaves. Then added ‘dew drops’ with dots of Shimmery Crystal Effects. Finished off with a cut down sentiment from the set and more gems.
