TGCDT: January 2021 ~ Simply Succulents Bundle
Hello & welcome to Mitosu Crafts UK by Barry & Jay, thanks for stopping by. We are sharing projects with the Simply Succulents Bundle from the January-June 2021 Mini Catalogue for The Gentlemen Crafters Design Team Blog Hop.
The Gentlemen Crafters Design Team (#tgcdt) are a group of male crafters. Independent Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators from around the world that love to share our creativity together every 2nd Friday of each month. Simply Succulents Bundle
We have created a lot of samples with this bundle on our YouTube channel, showing different card making techniques and colouring. For the cards on this hop the main succulent stamped images were drawn on with a pigment pen. Adding the lines on each leaves for more details and guide for colouring.
Both cards uses Seaside Spray cardbase which were stamped with Smoky Slate ink before adding a strip of True Love Designer Series Paper. Stitched Shapes Dies were used for the topper and accents snipped from the detailed background die cut.
The main succulents were coloured with Watercolour Pencils Assortment 2 and die cut with coordinating dies. You can check out a variation of the 2nd card from our recent livestream VIDEO HERE plus another card using the detailed die cut from Potted Succulents and Blending Brushes.
