The Spot Creative Challenge

I used the card sketch as a starting point which directed my stamping. I did add more elements to decorate the sentiment banner and embellished the design a bit more.
Kiss Technique with The Right Triangle Stamp
The Kiss Technique is when you kiss a stamp with another design before stamping on your project. It’s ideal for block stamps to be kissed with smaller designs. For my card, I flipped the triangles and used the reverse to get the block images. Inked with Pool Party, stamped off then kiss with the smaller designs from the set.
The Kiss Technique is a great way to create different looks with your sets. It looks like the triangles were masked to add the dots and crosses or was already part of the stamp, don’t you think?
Finishing Touches
The sentiment comes from Family Party which I stamped in Smoky Slate and Night of Navy inks. I added 2nd Generation stars in Pool Party ink before using Banners Pick A Punch to add the details on both ends. The triangular frame was cut in Balmy Blue card and the Pool Party banners were highlighted with Frost White Shimmer Paint. then finished with the In Good Taste wooden elements.
