Hello, welcome to Mitosu Crafts UK. Thanks for stopping by for The Gentlemen Crafters Design Team November Blog hop. Today we’re sharing some cute little Christmas Gift Tags & Gift Box using the Trimming The Town Designer Series Paper & the Coming Home Bundle.

The Gentlemen Crafters Design Team (#TGCDT) are a group of male crafters. Independent Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators from around the world that love to share our creative side with you every 2nd Friday of each month. CHRISTMAS IS COMING

For this project we’ve have made a selection of Christmas Gift Tags and a box to gift it in. This would make a lovely pre Christmas gift for someone and will make the present giving a bit more special to know that you had taken the the time to make them.

We’ve just loved playing with the Trimming the Town DSP & Coming Home Bundle this year and it’s by far one of our favourite sets from the 2020 Mini Catalogue.

The Home Together Dies which pair with the Coming Home Stamp Set also work with the Trimming The Town DSP. They cut out some of the house & trees from the papers which is what makes this an amazing suite to have in you collection.

We used the Layering Circle Dies & the Stitched Shapes Dies to stamp on. The rest of the tag is made from the Trimming The Town Designer Series Paper which has been cut using the Home Together Dies. Even the sentiment comes from the papers, making this a perfect suite

GIFT BOX

The box has been made using Whisper White Thick cardstock and decorated it with some of the designer Series paper. Top the box with some cuts outs form the paper and you have a lovely box.

To make the box base you’ll need some whisper white thick measuring 4-⅞” x 4-⅞” & score it on all 4 sides at 1”. Cut and notch the corners and stick together.

For this lid you need some more Whisper White Thick cardstock measuring 3-15/16” x 3-15/16” and score at ½” on all 4 sides. Same as the box base, cut and notch and stick together. 

By adding the 16^th of an inch to the box base measurements you will always get a perfect fitting lid.Just adjust for the box lid sides. I will make a video soon to make this clearer.
