The Spot design team creates Stampin Up inspirations for a weekly card making challenge every Tuesday. It’s a Colour Challenge this week with 3 Autumnal / Halloween colours
Perfectly Plaid
I wanted to use this set again as we haven’t played with it since last Christmas. It carried over to the Annual Catalogue along with the coordinating Pine Tree Punch.
There are some wonderful sentiments included but it did not fit the card I was creating using the colour combination from the challenge. So I opted for a shortened sentiment from Rooted In Nature set.
I sponged tone on tone on the Rich Razzleberry cardbase before adding the 4 pine trees. These were stamped in Pretty Peacock, again on Rich Razzleberry card. I then added the Scalloped Ribbon with Tear & Tape and Pumpkin Pie tree with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals.
More stamping was done tone on tone with the mini flowers from The Right Triangle set. Adding more texture with the Vellum die cuts from Detailed Bands before finishing with the Iridescent Pearls.
