TGCDT: September 2020 ~ Arrange A Wreath Bundle
Hello & welcome to Mitosu Crafts UK. Thanks for stopping by for The Gentlemen Crafters Design Team September inspiration hop. For today’s creative share we have card ideas and a tag with Arrange A Wreath Bundle.
The Gentlemen Crafters Design Team (#TGCDT) are a group of male crafters. Independent Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators from around the world that love to share our creative side with you every 2nd Friday of each month. Arrange A Wreath Bundle
This wonderful bundle can be found in the Annual Catalogue on page127 with a saving of 10% and also in our online shop. The photopolymer set with 15 stamps are great to build your wreaths through stamping all year round. Then enhance and step up your cardmaking with the coordinating dies.
For this card, the Sahara Sand cardbase was embossed with the Subtle design. Then layered Crumb Cake and Sahara Sand strips for the crates. These creates and the images were stamped tone on tone in Sahara Sand, Gray Granite and Crumb Cake. I also cut into the Soft Suede wreath to add flourishes underneath. The Marker To Stamp technique was used on the Early Espresso sentiment before fussy cutting. Then finished off with the Forever Greenery open-weave ribbon and Basic Pearls.
Arrange A Wreath Tag
I decided to showcase the Wreath Builder dies for this tag using the same neutral colours as above plus Very Vanilla card. The leafy wreath was cut twice and the the sprig on in the middle for a stronger wreath decoration. I folded the Sahara Sand cardstock before inserting into the Scalloped Tag Topper Punch to be able to add the wreath and Vellum as the front panel. Then the Braided Linen Trim was adhered using Mini Glue Dot to allow the tag to be opened easily.
