Trimming The Town
Barry and I have been playing with the Trimming The Town Suite on our YouTube livestream recently. And I wanted to use one of the dies from Home Together set for a non Christmas homely card. I die cut the house on Sahara Sand cardstock. Then die cut again with the square die from Stitched Shapes set.
Greenery Embossing Folder with Stampin’ Blends
The colours I’ve chosen were inspired by Orla Kiely designs as the leaves reminds me of Orla’s gorgeous prints. The Stampin’ Blends alcohol markers I used were; Pretty Peacock, Daffodil Delight, Old Olive and Smoky Slate. Colouring the embossed designs had to be done quickly as the alcohol markers does spread a lot more on the embossed designs.
I also used the other design from Greenery Embossing Folders pack on a Very Vanilla cardstock to showcase both on my card.
To finish the sketch I added Bumblebee Ribbon and the white embossed sentiment from Forever Blossoms stamp set on Early Espresso card.
