Family Party Stamp Set For A Kids Card

The Spot Creative Challenge
The Spot design team creates Stampin Up inspirations for a weekly card making challenge every Tuesday. It’s an themed challenge this week, to create your own DSP using stamp sets so the possibilities are endless!
Kids Card Idea with Family Party
I had the idea of creating a card for kids by stamping the numbers from Family Party for the background. What I like about this is it can be for any age and kids who love bright colours!
We’ve recently been enjoying summer fruits for our desserts and one of my favourite fruit is watermelon. I guess the colour combination on this card has been inspired by it!
The numbers were stamped in Smoky Slate ink using the Stamparatus but can also be recreated using the F Block. I then stamped the stars tone on tone in Poppy Parade.
The presents were stamped in Poppy Parade, using the Stamping Off technique to achieve the lighter shades for the 2 presents on both sides. I also used the diagonal stripes design from Jar of Flowers on Granny Apple Green card to add contrast. Which then inspired the use of the Black/White Baker’s Twine from the Playful Pets Combo Trim.
To finish this kids card, I added the Basic Rhinestones coloured in Basic Black Stampin’ Blends Marker and the Gold Foil on the right hand side to balance the layout.
