Daisy Lane ~ Stamp Review Crew Projects
Hello and welcome to Mitosu Crafts UK. It’s Jay Soriano here sharing Daisy Lane papercraft ideas for the Stamp Review Crew blog hop.
If you’re following the hop already, you may have arrived here from Heart’s Delight Cards by Cindy Elam. I can’t wait to see the rest of the crew’s projects with the Daisy Lane stamp set. So be sure to hop all the way around by clicking the ‘Next Blog’ button at the end of this blog post for more inspirations or head to Stamp Review Crew blog for the full crew list.
Daisy Lane Refresh
This set carried over to the 2020-2021 Annual Catalogue and can be found on page 20. It’s a CLING Mount set with 9 designs and coordinates with the Daisy Punch and Medium Daisy Punch. I decided to combine NEW products with this set to create fresh papercraft ideas for this hop.
Daisy Lane Floating Home Decor
This Daisy Lane Floating Home Decor is A5 in size (5-13/16″ x 8-1/4″) with a thick cardboard for the base. Coated in White Acrylic Paint mixed with Shaded Spruce Refill. I then added the distressed Early Espresso card edges with Paper Snips before decorating.
The daisies were stamped in Soft Sea Foam and Old Olive, cut with the coordinating punches or fussy cut. I incorporated the Forever Flourishing die cuts for decoration in Garden Green, Shaded Spruce, Old Olive, Vellum and Crumb Cake.
I also added the adorable cat from Pampered Pets stamp set, coloured in Smoky Slate and Basic Black Stampin’ Blends Markers. Then finished off with the Chalk Marker dots and Gold Glitter Enamel Dots.
It is a ‘Floating Home Decor’ as I also created a mechanism at the back. So it can fold flat for gifting in a box, then displayed 1″ off the wall!
Gerbera Inspired Card
I am loving the NEW 2020-2022 In Colors especially Magenta Madness and wanted to use it after seeing the bright gerberas pictured below . The Gray Granite layer was die embossed using the Forever Flourishing dies. These die impressions just gives another texture to the card don’t you think?
I stamped the ferns design in Just Jade on the Stitched Shapes die cut topper then added a hint of Gold Foil. Linen Thread was wrapped around before adhering with Stampin’ Dimensionals then decorating with the flowers, the white embossed sentiment and Gold Glitter Enamel Dots.
3D Cube Pop Up Box Card
Barry recently made a 3D Cube Pop Up Box Card that I just had to create too. This version of course features the Daisy Lane designs, creating my own pattern papers for decoration. Starting with 3-5/8″ x 5-7/16″ pieces, I stamped the small daisy in Soft Sea Foam on Mint Macaron card and the fern in Just Jade on Old Olive card. These were then cut down into 1-13/16″ squares.
The square were added on the Pretty Peacock base then decorated with the daisies stamped in Old Olive (1st and 2nd Generation). The sentiment from Ornate Thanks was white embossed and added to finish this fun fancy fold card. If you are interested in creating your own 3D Cube Pop Up Box Card, you can check out Barry’s video tutorial below.
