Still Scenes ~ Stamp Review Crew

3 Way Notecards with Still Scenes
Barry and I needed a few cards to send with the Seasonal Catalogue and I thought to use the Still Scenes stamp to create one layer notecards.
The Stamparatus is a very handy tool to have which helped create these notecards. I kept the layout simple but just changed small details and used different techniques.
Watercolour Wash Background
I stamped the image with Crumb Cake ink and the watercolour wash in Balmy Blue using an Aqua Painter. To add glitter, I used Wink of Stella on the house, Garden Green tree and snow on the ground. The door was coloured with Real Red Marker and sentiment stamped in Memento.
Mixed Metallic Embossed
I prepared the notecard with Embossing Buddy before stamping the image with Versamark and heat embossing in Copper. The notecard was repositioned on the Stamparatus to stamp the sentiment which was then embossed in Gold. The door was coloured the same way as the previous card above, Wink of Stella to add glimmer and the snowflakes were stamped in Balmy Blue ink.
Marker To Stamp Still Scenes
The Marker To Stamp technique was made easy with the Stamparatus. I inked the main image with Crumb Cake and used Soft Suede on the bare trees for contrast. Wink of Stella was used to spread and add more colour to the image, then Real Red and Garden Green Markers for the sentiment.
Treat Holder Still Scenes with Snow Globe Scenes
The Still Scenes stamp set co-ordinates with the Snow Globe Dies and comes as a BUNDLE for 10% off. I created a cute treat holder which is great for table gifts
- Cardstock: Petal Pink, Flirty Flamingo, Blushing Bride
- Stampin’ Blends Markers: Crumb Cake, Pool Party, Poppy Parade, Daffodil Delight
- Inks: Memento, Chalk Marker
This treat holder measures 3-1/4″ x 3-3/8″ x 1-1/4″ and can hold a Lindt chocolate.
- Blushing Bride base: 7″ x 3-1/4″
- long side score at 1-1/4″, 2-1/4″, 3-1/2″, 4-1/2″ & 5 3/4″
- short side score at 1″ & 2-1/4″
- score diagonal folds and snip sides on one end
- make up and adhere the snow globe die cuts
