Winter Woods Stamp Review Crew Blog Hop

Hello and thanks for stopping by. It’s Jay here sharing my project ideas with the Stamp Review Crew using Winter Woods stamp set.

We are a group of Stampin’ Up! independent demonstrators sharing project ideas with one particular stamp set every 1st and 3rd Mondays of the month. So today is a short Bonus Hop!

Winter Woods Stamp for Autumnal Card & Tag

These autumnal card and tag were achieved by sponging Melon Mambo and Rich Razzleberry inks on Daffodil Delight cardstock. The trees were stamped in Memento (on card) and Merry Merlot (on tag).

I also used the co-ordinating In The Woods Dies for the focal point then added the Copper Trim and Linen Thread triple bow. The aim was to have minimal layers but I smudged the bottom of the card. I did save the card by adding another layer of Daffodil Delight and used the Stamparatus stamping tool for the tag and the next card idea.

Embossed Card with Winter Woods Stamp

For this winter scene, I embossed the trees and sentiment in White on Seaside Spray card. I used the same layout as before as I had the stamps set up on the Stamparatus. I then sponged Flirty Flamingo and Night of Navy inks with a little masking for the horizon.

The silver glimmer snowflakes were die cut using Frosted Frames Dies from the seasonal catalogue. I added a small folded piece of Seaside Spray Metallic Ribbon and finished with the Frosted Flower Embellishment coloured in Dark Night of Navy Stampin Blends.

Winter Woods WOW Pop Up Cards

For my final projects, I created a Twisting Pop Up Card! I have done a few of these type of cards so I designed another variation with the Winter Woods stamp with Perfectly Plaid AND Pine Tree Punch Bundle from the 2019 Autumn/Winter catalogue.

It opens up with a forest of trees. The middle pops up automatically and the trees on both sides can also be stood up!
