Snowman Magic Card
Measurements Imperial
- Night of Navy cardstock, 8-1/2” x 5-1/2”, scored on the long side at 4-1/4”
- Night of Navy cardstock, 4-3/4” x 3-1/2”
- Basic White cardstock, 4-7/8” x 3-5/8”
- Basic White cardstock, 4” x 5-1/4” (inside), plus scrap for rabbit
- White Glimmer Paper, 4-1/2” x 3-1/4”
- Basic Black cardstock, scrap for hat
- Early Espresso cardstock, scrap for stick arms
- Regals DSP (Real Red), scrap for scarf

- Night of Navy cardstock, 21.0 cm x 14.8 cm, scored on the long side at 10.5 cm
- Night of Navy cardstock, 12 cm x 8.8 cm
- Basic White cardstock, 12.3 cm x 9.1 cm
- Basic White cardstock, 10.0 cm x 14.3 cm (inside), plus scrap for rabbit
- White Glimmer Paper, 11.5 cm x 8.3 cm
- Basic Black cardstock, scrap for hat
- Early Espresso cardstock, scrap for stick arms
- Regals DSP (Real Red), scrap for scarf
12 Weeks of Christmas Ideas #30 Tutorial – How To Make A Christmas Card with Snowman Magic
- Die cut white glimmer paper with rectangle snowflake border die.
- Die cut hat from Basic Black cardstock scrap, stick arms from Early Espresso cardstock scrap, scarf from Real Red DSP scrap, rabbit from Basic White cardstock scrap, and snowman from remaining inside scrap of glimmer paper.
- Cover scarf in fine tip liquid glue & set aside to dry.
- Put one stripe of Real Red Enamel Effects across hat, then cover remainder of hat with Basic Black Enamel Effects. Set aside to dry.
- Stamp face on glimmer snowman diecut with Momento black ink, then use Basic Black Stampin’ Write marker (or Basic Black Stampin’ Blends) to accentuate the mouth dots & to outline the nose. Use Dark Pumpkin Pie Stampin’ Blends to fill in the carrot nose (dot on the ink). Add a dot of Basic Black Enamel Effects for each eye. Set aside to dry.
- Stamp rabbit in Momento Black ink on silicone craft sheet using stamparatus. Lay scrap of Basic White cardstock over stamped image & press down rabbit stamp again. This should transfer the ink from the craft sheet to the back of the white cardstock to create a reverse image. Diecut using front side of cardstock (then flip to attach to card front).
- Emboss layer of Night of Navy cardstock with the Charming Landscapes embossing folder set (mountain folder).
- Use White Chaulk Marker (retired) or a blending brush dipped in craft white ink refill to make the embossed snowflakes white.
- Add foam adhesive strips to back of diecut glimmer frame & attach to embossed navy layer (centered).
- Attach frame layer to basic white cardstock layer (centered) using liquid glue.
- Attach assembled layer to front of Night of Navy cardstock base using liquid glue.
- Stamp inside basic white layer with “Magical” greeting in Night of Navy ink.
- Attach inside layer to inside of card base using liquid glue.
- Attach diecut stick arms to back of diecut snowman using glue dots. Attach diecut scarf & hat to front of snowman using glue dots (ensure the diecut pieces have dried first).
- Add Stampin’ Dimensionals to back of snowman & attach to card front inside glimmer frame.
- Add Stampin’ Dimensionals to “back” of rabbit and attach to card front to the right of snowman (facing snowman).
